Santa Cruz Mountains Challenge Workers Ride

The route was the 100km Mountains Challenge route from Scotts Valley, the same as the route on the 1st of July. It was a very hot day. Unfortunately, while heading down 236, on the curves just before the upper intersection with Escape, I crashed pretty hard. Fortunately, I was with the group, and they fixed my flat, and, after I recovered somewhat, accompanied me as I coasted to the headquarters, and got the park ranger to help me. I wound up taking the ambulance to Dominican after that, and fortunately had only bruised ribs. So that ride ended prematurely.
